For those of us that decide to stay in town this year, we have highlighted some of the fun things going on around Boise for New Year’s Eve!
New Year’s Eve Guide for 2020
To kick off our NYE list there is the annual Idaho Potato Drop with Entertainment stages, a heated tent with activities, food trucks, a cocktail and beer garden, Toyota Rail Jam snowboarding competition, fireworks and so much more! This event starts at 1 p.m on December 31st in front of the Idaho Statehouse. This event is free to all with VIP tickets for purchase!
Not looking to watch the potato drop? Check out Hop Drop! This New Years Eve party has a special “Hop Drop” beer release, in collaboration with Mill 95 Hops. There will be complimentary flutes of Hop Drop at midnight! Enjoy music by Like a Rocket, food, party favors; and join them at midnight dropping a giant hop over the brewhouse! This event starts at 4 p.m. and the party goes until 1 a.m. This event is free to attend with food and beverages available for purchase!

So hop’s aren’t your thing? No worries! Come down to the Studio 54 New Year’s Eve Party: from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. on December 31st at Barbacoa Grill. This event is $55 per person, which includes appetizers, one complimentary drink and a champagne toast.
